How It Works :

Digestive enzymes, organic acids and probiotics works in tandem to enhance the availability of milk precursors (Protein and fatty acids).

Digestive enzymes increase the available energy and amino acids in the ruminants by efficiently breaking down the starch, protein and fibers.

Availability of additional energy through digestive enzymes results in Sub Acute Rumen Acidosis (SARA) by rapid fermentation of sugars to lactic acid by rumen microbiomes. SARA has been indicated as a principal reason for lowered fiber digestibility, increased bloating and decreased milk production. Organic acid in the formulation alleviates the Acidosis (SARA) primarily by conversion of Lactic acid to milk fatty acids through selective enrichment of specific bacterial species. This increases the availability of precursors for milk biosynthesis.

Probiotic not only creates the anoxic environment in the rumen but also serves as by-pass protein source that is further broken down and absorbed from abomasum.

While enzymes, probiotic and organic acid work in improving the precursor, it is equally important to convert the precursors to milk. Prolactin hormones levels in the blood is vital for sustained milk production. Herbal galactagogues are reported to increase the half-life of the Prolactin when administered orally.

Thus, the enhancement of milk yield for the similar DMI is a synergistic effect of higher availability of precursor and improved half-life of prolactin levels.
